Today, Monday, August 25, 2025, Gilan Haji Said, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Shirin Yahya Khalil, Khalil Goran, and Kamaran Mohammed Salih, members of the Chamber's Executive Council, welcomed a number of merchants and industrialists from Erbil city representing various sectors.
In a meeting attended by both the Chamber's General Director and the Head of Relations Department, Gilan Haji Said, the Chamber President, initially delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the Chamber's support and backing for all merchants and industrialists in Erbil city.
The Chamber President announced: "Despite the numerous problems facing the people of the Kurdistan Region and its government, which have also affected merchants, they have continued their work and have not allowed these issues to have a negative impact. Nevertheless, it is appropriate that we always remain grateful for enjoying peace and security, and we hope these problems will also be resolved."
The Chamber President confirmed that the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry has always been a home for all merchants and business owners, and they are ready to convey their problems and difficulties to the relevant authorities for the purpose of resolution.
In the meeting, the attending merchants and business owners discussed their problems and difficulties, hoping that the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with relevant parties, would find solutions to these problems.
For his part, the Chamber President pledged to strive for resolving all problems and to work more seriously for the merchants and industrialists of Erbil city.
At the end of the meeting, thanks and appreciation were extended by the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry to merchant and company owner Fahad Rahman Mohammed, congratulating him on his role in promoting Kurdistan outside the country (Indonesia) and expanding his business internationally with high competency.
