Today Thursday, 6/2/2025, Kamaran Salah Bajger, Deputy Chairman of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with some members of the Chamber's administrative council, received the Director of Programs of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Iraq and the accompanying delegation.
In a meeting, after welcoming them, the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber thanked the agency for its work and activities, and expressed his pleasure that these activities have had good results in developing the economic sector in the Kurdistan Region. He said: "In the past period, there has been good coordination between the Chamber and GIZ in conducting training courses and seminars." Kamaran Salah Bajger said: "Our goal is to help young people and activate their ideas." The Deputy Chairman of the Chamber said: "The door of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry is open for any coordination."
The Director of GIZ Programs stated: "We have been working in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region since 2018. After completing the first part of our program, we are now starting the second part of our programs, which consists of organizing a meeting between the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the government side to discuss a current commercial and economic issue in the Kurdistan Region with the aim of resolving it, as well as bringing together women business owners and organizing a meeting with women who have ideas, with the aim of bringing more women forward in business.
