Today, Sunday, October 5, 2025, Gaylan Haji Saeed, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of Khalil Goran, member of the Chamber's Executive Council, welcomed a delegation of businesspeople, investors, and journalists from the Turkish city of Trabzon, headed by Khaled Kanaloghlu, owner of Birneli Resort in Trabzon.
Following the welcome, in a meeting, discussions were held on all aspects and topics that contribute to advancing the tourism sector between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, the matter of working on coordination and communication between both the Erbil and Trabzon Chambers of Commerce was raised. The guest delegation also expressed their desire to participate, through the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the Erbil International Tourism Fair next year.
For his part, Gaylan Haji Saeed, President of the Chamber, expressed his pleasure at the guest delegation's participation in the Erbil International Tourism Fair, and also announced the Chamber's readiness for all coordination and support to strengthen relations with the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and all commercial associations and unions in this city, for the advancement of all sectors between both sides.
