With the participation of a delegation from Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Third International Exhibition for Supporting Van Food and Gastronomy opened in Van city
Today, Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Van city - Turkey, the Third International Exhibition for Supporting Van Food and Gastronomy was opened for the third time this year with the participation of 84 companies under the slogan "81 Provinces - 81 Tastes."
A delegation from Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, consisting of Kamaran Mohammed Salih and Rasheed Mustafa Mirkhan, members of the Executive Council of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the opening ceremony of this exhibition.
During the opening ceremony of this exhibition, several speeches were delivered. The speech of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry was presented by Kamaran Mohammed Salih, who in his speech expressed pride in this participation and hoped that Erbil would one day host the organizers and participants.
Kamaran said: "Participating in this exhibition strengthens coordination and relations between both sides and increases the benefits for both parties." He added: "Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Turkey are very strong and have strategic importance. A large number of Turkish companies and investors are present in the Kurdistan Region, and Erbil city has received the lion's share of the percentage of these companies. Until 2024, the total trade between Iraq and Turkey was $17 billion. Approximately 35-36% of this amount passes through the Kurdistan Region."
After the opening of the exhibition, the members of the Chamber's Executive Council visited the exhibition sections and conducted several meetings with participating companies.
