Today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Gilan Haji Said, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, welcomed a delegation from the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, headed by the official of the economic section of the aforementioned consulate.
In a meeting, with Khalil Goran and Kamaran Muhammed Salih, the commercial situation and economic movement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region were discussed.
In this meeting, the official of the economic section of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Consulate General in Erbil stated that a significant number of Iranian companies will participate in the Erbil International Building Materials Exhibition, which is scheduled to open on the 23rd of this month. At the same time, on the second day of their participation, they will conduct B2B meetings with Kurdish companies.
In response, the Chamber President, while expressing congratulations and wishing success, showed the Chamber's readiness to cooperate and coordinate in organizing this meeting.
