Commerce and Industry, along with Haji Ismail Surchi and Salar Salah Khoshnaw, members of the Chamber's Administrative Council, received Ms. Holly Radcliffe, Iraq Affairs Officer at the US State Department, and her accompanying delegation.
After welcoming them, a meeting was held to discuss the economic and commercial situation and investment opportunities in the Kurdistan Region.
Kamaran Salah Bajgar asked the visiting delegation to encourage American companies and business owners to invest in the Kurdistan Region, expressing the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry's readiness to provide all assistance and coordination for them.
Ms. Holly Radcliffe thanked them for the warm reception extended to her and her accompanying delegation, saying: "In addition to the job and investment opportunities available in all sectors in the Kurdistan Region, there is also a suitable and stable environment, which is a strong factor for attracting more American companies and investors to the Kurdistan Region." She also thanked the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its assistance and coordination.
During this meeting, several other topics related to strengthening the commercial and economic relations between the United States and the Kurdistan Region were discussed.
