Erbil: On 2/10/2013, In the presence of Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kurdistan region , and Mounir Fakhri Abdel-Nour , Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Eygypt ,Ahmed Mohamed  alwakil  Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce , Suleiman Osman Egyptian consul in the Region ,Erbil Chamber  organized , at the Cultural and social Center an expanded meeting between a delegation of Egyptian and Erbil traders to discuss ways of economic relations between the region and the Egyptian Arab Republic .

At the beginning of the meeting , which attended by a  members of the Board of Directors members of the Chamber ,representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the region of Kurdistan and a group of company owners , local traders President of the Chamber said through his speech , to the historical relations between Egypt and the Kurdistan region and developments in economic relations in recent times , especially after Egyptian Consulate Proceeds in Erbil and opening the airline tours  between Erbil and Cairo , pointed out the relationship between the Chamber and the Egyptian Consulate in Erbil and positive reflections on the development of the relationship between businessmen in the region and Arab Republic of Egypt and expressed its readiness to offer more support and facilities for Egyptians traders to invest  their money in the region and expand their trade with Iraq through the Erbil capital , like all other Arab and foreign companies operating in the region .

Mr. Ahmed  alwakil  indicated to  a number of  important points that relate to the development of economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Arab Republic of Egypt and expressed readiness to provide assistance to Egyptian and Kurdistan traders  in order to accomplish their business and focused on the need to work in order to achieve the free movement of people , money and materials between the two countries to achieve the kind of economic integration.

The Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Egypt expressed  the government's willingness to support and assist the Egyptian traders to expand economic relations with the region, and noted that their visit to the region is an expression of Egypt's readiness to expand its dealings with Iraq in general and Kurdistan Region in particular.

Mr.Suleiman Osman also talked about  the role of each of the Chamber and Erbil Company organizer of Erbil International Fair , to support and assist the consulate to complete its economic duty , which facilitated the visit of Egyptian companies to the region and participate in exhibitions and meetings with traders and owners of businesses in the region.

  Mr. Aziz Ibrahim representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the of Kurdistan Region, talked about mechanism to establish Arab and foreign companies branches in the region and privileges accorded to them by the Regional government through laws and regulations issued by the relevant authorities , as pointed out to the industrial zones that the Regional government due of founding  them of the whole international specifications in the three provinces of the region to be allocated for the establishment of factories and new industrial facilities , and expressed the ministry 's readiness to provide more support and assistance to the Egyptian companies that intend to work in Kurdistan.

At the end of the meeting, bilateral meetings between the participants held  to get acquainted and discuss ways of cooperation economist between them.

Erbil : On 30.9.2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat , President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his office has received, Thailand 's ambassador to Iraq, and Jordan Mr. Perea Khmbon who is visiting the region to search  the possibility of Thai companies entering the market of Kurdistan, also pointed out that the preparation is underway to the visit of a senior Thai trade delegation to Kurdistan for the same goal and asked for mutual visits , Mr. Ambassador was welcomed by Mr. President of the Chamber and expressed  his willingness to cooperate at all levels in order to build solid economic and trade relations with Thailand.

Erbil : On 26/09/2013,Mr. Fidaddin Mohammed Amin a member of the Board of Directors and Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry received, a number of representatives of the Iranian companies to participate in the Erbil International Fair in the presence of the commercial department official in Iran 's consulate in Erbil, and a number of stakeholders in the Chamber , Mr.Faaddin talked  about the economic and trade situation in the region, and the  existing development in  the region , also welcomed foreign companies to enter the market of Kurdistan explained some of the important items of the Investment Law No. 6 of 2006, which gives a lot of concessions to investment companies , as well as provided an explanation on how to open foreign companies branches in Erbil , and then Mr. Motamedi head of the delegation said that the purpose of this visit is the desire of the Iranian companies to work and invest in Kurdistan, the meeting included a number of questions answered by Mr.Amin..

Erbil: On 26/09/2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat ,president  of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received in his office a Portuguese trade delegation chaired by Ms. Maya Helena responsible Head of marketing and services department  in Portugal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which said that we came with a good number of Portuguese companies in order to initialize to enter Kurdistan market and to participate in Erbil International Fair , hoped to start good phase of economic relations between the two sides , noting that Portuguese companies consider Kurdistan as the interface with a favorable climate for investment, delegation was welcomed by the President of the Chamber and expressed his willingness to cooperate with Portuguese companies inflows to the region and to provide necessary assistance to serve the common business goals.

Erbi:lOn 09.24.2013,Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in his office has recieved a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman , who is visiting the region , accompanied by a number of Oman businessmen and business interests, in the first visit of  them for the region in order to open the door to trade cooperation between the two parties, Mr. President of the Chamber welcomed the delegation and expressed the readiness of the Chamber  to provide a helping hand to the Sultanate of Oman to have a  foothold in business dealings with the region .

The head of the delegation , Mr. Ahmed Saleh expressed his thanks and gratitude for the warm reception stressing the advent of trade delegations again to Kurdistan in the near future, also stressed the need to open the door of  mutual exchange

Erbil: On 09.24.2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in his office Ms. Isabel Chmidiaur commercial Chancellor in  Consulate of Austeria in Baghdad , who is visiting the Kurdistan region in order to promote trade and economic cooperation between Austria and the Kurdistan region, Mr. President of The Chamber has welcomed the visit He expressed the readiness of the Chamber to  provide necessary facilities for Austrian companies that want to enter the market of Kurdistan to have privileged attend to serve the common economic goals .

Erbil: On 09/24/2013 ,

Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry of in his office has received a delegation of the Brazilian Union of Islamic institutions and groups of  exporters and professionals specialists in  Brazilian beef trade , .

 Mr. President of the Chamber at the meeting  stressed on the need to have Brazilian cooperation  and large availability of Brazilian companies in the arena of  Kurdistan Economy, to cooperate in order to achieve the economic goals to serve the two countries , and in the speeches  of both Messrs. Nizar Ghandour foreign relations official of the Islamic Organization and  Antonio George Mardela head of the group , talked about the nature of their work and the purpose of their visit to the region , to look closely on the market of Kurdistan and study of the economic situation to start their business on a healthy bases .

Erbil :On 19 / 9/2013, Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his office ,has received a delegation of Syria lawyers, headed by Mr. Firas Amamun  SnoFi / Office Manager of Snofi for Law and legal Consultancy , At the outset of the meeting with vice president of the Chamber  he wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region and then touched on the legal situation in the Chamber and expansion happening where that goes according to the laws in force in the region, also thanked the the head of the delegation thanked  , Mr. Vice- President of the Chamber for the warm reception and adequate explanation of  the legal status quo in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, then Mr. head of the delegation revealed about the reason for his visit to the region , a definition of the activities of his office , which  works at the local level and international level in the field of legal activities and settlement of disputes between the owners of the commercial interests ,businessmen and expressed his desire to engage in commercial arbitration inside the Chamber idea, was welcomed by the Vice- President of the Chamber and promised to put them in front of the Board of Directors for consideration.

Erbil: On 09.24.2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the  Kurdistan Region , President of the Erbil  Chamber , in his office Mr. Hkuropash Dkrmen president of the Federation of  Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkish Sparta Governorate and his accompanying delegation , Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz and a number of members Board of Directors of the Chamber and the commercial attaché at the Turkish Consulate in Erbil l attended the meeting, , in the beginning of the meeting Mr. President of the Chamber welcomed  guest delegation and wished them a pleasant stay , also pointed to expansion in trade and economic relations between the Region and Turkey wished the parties further cooperation to serve the economies of the two countries , and in the speech of Mr. President of the Sparta Turkey Chamber , said: we came here  to look closely at the business activities taking place in the region and search for business opportunities within the companies have different specialties ,who a accompanying us  as  fruits trade - relics  - ceramics - alabaster and agricultural machinery , and in conclusion, Mr. President of the Chamber expressed willingness to provide the required assistance that would working on the advancement of the economies of the two sides
