Erbil: On 12.8.2014 Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat Chairman of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Erbil, was received in his office  Mr. Adam Osman Mohammed Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Baghdad, accompanied by a number of officials in the embassy,.

The meeting was attended by a number of members of the board of the administration of the  Chamber .

The sides talked about the importance of the development of trade relations between the region and the Sudan Republic , as well as to invite Sudanese companies to invest in the field of agriculture development and other fields, and the President of the Chamber  expressed readiness to provide technical and logistical support to the Sudanese companies in the case of arrival in Kurdistan to achieve common benefits serve the economies of both countries, and in the end   Sudanese  counselor said that his country is in the process of opening  General Consulate of his country in Erbil in 2015 to attract business and commercial interests of the Sudanese to work in Iraqi Kurdistan. -
