Erbil: On 8 October, 2019, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayyat, President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received in his office, Mr. Ghulam Reza Ansari, the undersecretary of the Iran Assistant  Foreign Minister for Economy and Trade Affairs, in the presence of  deputies and members of the Chamber's board of directors.

The guest highlighted the obstacles facing trade movement at the border points, pointing out the agreement between the region and Iran. The opening of two new crossings and a duty free  on the border as a qualitative development of these relations and a serious step to overcome the difficulties of trade exchange.
