Erbil: On 17/02/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his office in Erbil   ,has received  The head of UNDP Program in Erbil Mr. Fahebe Soleimani in the presence of a numberof members of the administrative board of the chamber, where they discussed ways of cooperation and support that can be provided  by the Organization for the development of the Chamber of Commerce, also the head of the  Officeof the Organization showed  willingness to  offer cooperation and necessary counseling to serve the implementation of service projects, power generation, water drainage, health, education, training and  capacity building of a dedicated team in the  fields of budget and efficiency raise in business management and planning, archiving and contracts, marketing and information technology.

Erbil: On 13.02.2013  Turkish ITV channel interview has interviewed Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat  President  of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,to shed light on  different economic issues , as he  pointed out that Union of Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries is to hold many trade meetings and economic forums for Kurdistan businessmen and their counterparts in many countries of the world in order to develop trade relations, these activities  have produced  attracting foreign companies to invest and work in the region and praised the role of official Kurdish economic institutions for the success of these meetings and the good results achieved in order to activateand revive the infrastructure of  sectors of Construction in addition to sectors of industry,, agriculture and tourism with a significant interaction between the economic institutions of Kurdistan and their foreign counterparts, raising the will of foreign companies to come and  do investment in the region,

The security stable situation has the larger effect and motive for rushing the  foreign companies to the Region ,,and praised the role of Turkish companies that have the lion's share in the implementation of projects due to theiroptimally implementation of the business.

Erbil ,:On 13/02/2013,Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in hisoffice ,has received  delegation representing the Turkish company Gama specialized in the field of construction andelectrical engineering under the chairmanship of Mr. Aozkur Ardoglu vice president of the administrative board of the company that carried out a number of projects in the Kurdistan region including the  Electricity project of  Khabatprovince of Erbil, the delegation  was welcomed by Mr. President of the Chamber and wished the company success intheir work, also expressed his willingness to provide all means of support and possible facilities to serve theeconomies of the region.

Erbil: 13/02/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  the President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry,in his office in Erbil has received  a delegation from the Economic Development Council of Western Kurdistan, headed by Mr.Abdul Rahman Khalil, President of the Council, the meeting was attended by Mr. Shaukat Barbaharri Director of Fishhabour. compound border ,In a meeting held between the sides Mr. President of the Chamber expressed his sorrow to what is happening in Syria and the suffering and misfortunes of the people and, especially our brothersKurds, also praised the struggle of the Iraqi Kurds and their sacrifices to get to the minimum level  of their national rights ,they have been able to overcome many of the challenges ,by the sacrifices of the Kurdish people, by declaringIraq's Kurdistan Region  exercising it is  constitutional rights within a federal Iraq.

He also talked  about the campaign of  donations to ambulance displaced  Kurds in the refugee compound of Dumez , where the Chamber played a role for the success of the campaign, and finally, Mr. President of the Chamberwelcomed the establishment of the Economic Development Council of Western Kurdistan.

Erbil: On 10/02/2013 on an official invitation of the Amman  Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Jordan , Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the  twentieth celebratoryanniversary of the founding of  Amman  Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Which a  Festival was held on this occasion and was attended by Prince Mohammed Abdullah II and Mr. Riad Saifi President of Amman Chamber of Commerce and industry , with a number of heads and representatives of Arab and the World Chambers of Commerce,A number of speeches made in the festival , with the presentation of a documentary film about the evolution stages  of Amman Chamber and   the participants were honored, also  an expanded meeting held and attended by the President of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce on this occasion was chaired by Jordan's Prime Minister , and on thesidelines of the visit, Mr. President of the Chamber received by Mr. Hatem Halawani Minister of trade and Industry of Jordan and Mr. Basil Al-Salem -president of Capital Bank they talked about  ways to develop trade and economic relations and banking between Jordan and the Kurdistan region .
