Erbil: During the period of 1-2/3/2015 , under the auspices of hi excellency the president of Kurdistan Regional Government Mr.Nechirvan Barzan ,who assigned Mr.Sardar Samal the minister of Trade of Kurdisatn Region to represent him , The Federation of Commercial and Industrial Chambers of Kurdistan Region in coordination and cooperation with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and British and Iraqi Business Council held a conference for business in the city of Erbil along two days 1-2 / 3/2015 .
The conference attended by a group of government and economic officials of the sides involved, including governors of Erbil, Dohuk, and Chairman of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and the heads of the Chambers of Commerce of Kurdistan and Ms.Emma Nicholson trade commissioner for the United Kingdom to Iraq / Executive Director of the British -Iraq Business Council , and in the presence of more than three hundred British,Kurdistan And Iraqi company representatives.
The conference was opened by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kurdistan Region and the President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , he gave a speech expressed his thanks to the Kurdistan Regional Government for its support in the establishment of this economic event and stressed that the holding of such conferences will enhance trade and economic relations between the region and the countries of the world, especially in this embarrassing circumstance that passes by Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in terms of security and economic and expressed hope that the conference serve out the decisions of the Kurditan economy.
Then followed by a speech of President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, delivered by Mr. Samal Sardar .He welcomed the attendees and conveyed the greetings of the President of the KRG for conferences attendees and wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil, and the success of the conference where he pointed to security and economic conditions experienced by Iraq and the Kurdistan Region . Said the Kurdistan REgional Government worked hard to get rid of this situation to be able to provide better services to the economic institutions of the public and private sectors to boost the economy forward and expressed optimism that serious cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom in economic fields at various levels will bring commercial and moral interest of the two countries.
