Erbil: On 05/11/2014, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat president  of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,met Mr. Samir Jamaeei  , Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Iraq in Erbil .

 The meeting was attended by a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber  and the delegation accompanied the  guest , Mr. President of the Chamber was pleased with the visit and wished to be gesture towards the enhancement of economic and trade relations between the Region  and Tunisia , as Mr. Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception ,and noted in the meeting ,that the direct air route will be opened between the Kurdistan Region and Tunisia at the beginning of next month , and the office Tunisian diplomat in Erbil, will start  with  granting of visas for citizens, wishing to visit Tunisia , these steps would strengthen trade relations between the two parties , as pointed out that the trade delegation will be on board of the first flight by  Tunisia airline  to Kurdistan , the attendees has welcomed these developments , hoping that these steps serve as a bridge pass on it   those involved in international trade and the thought owners  of the commercial and economic issues  to serve the interests of the two countries.
