Erbil: On 13.01.2014 , a reception ceremony was took place in Erbil which was organized in Erbil Rotana Hotel ,with the participation of members of the UAE official and commercial delegation and Emirates consular in Erbil ,on the occasion of opening a branch by DCCI in Erbil .
The ceremony attended by a number of officials in the Kurdistan Regional Government ,Messrs. Karim Sinjari, interior minister , Falah Mustafa Bakir, head of the Department of Foreign Relations , Nawzad Hadi, Governor of Erbil ,Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Rashid Al Mansouri Emirates Consul in the region, Hamad Mubarak Bu Amim, Excutive Director of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and industry (DCCI) , Abdul Rahman Al Ghurair, President of Directorate body of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and industry (DCCI) and the number of owners of commercial interests in the region and the United Arab Emirates .
The participants has pointed , that this event will be Gateway to enter the UAE companies to the Kurdistan Region as one of the top investment destinations due to the diversity of investment opportunities which , Mr. Chairman of the Department of Foreign Relations of KRG has explained, in a speech on this occasion that the Kurdistan Regional Government paying a special attention to the relations with the United Arab Emirates , which is a political and commercial partner of the Region takes care of the development of the region ,, as Mr. Governor of Erbil pointed out in his speech to the evolution in relations between the two countries , and in the same context, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat said in his speech , that the opening of the Office of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in Erbil is a good gesture, expressing the readiness of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and industry to provide all kinds of cooperation and assistance to investors and UAE companies wishing to invest in the Region of Kurdistan , and is worth mentioning that Dubai Chamber of Commerce and industry (DCCI) is one of the top chambers of commerce in the world with more than 145,000 members , including international companies , note that this branch is the first branch to be opened in the Middle East and the third in the world.
