Erbil:On 24/09/2013,at the building of the of Social and Cultural Center of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held an expanded meeting between representatives of the Kurdish and British companies accompanying the delegation of the Assembly,the meeting attended by Mr. Fida adin Mohammed Amin, a member of Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and a number of other members of the member Board of Directors of the Chamber Chamebr, and in a speech to hailed the visit and wished the delegation a pleasant stay in Erbil , also touched on the depth of the economic and trade relations between the Region and Britain asking the expansion of these relations through the presence of the largest number of British companies in the economic arena of Kurdistan, and also talked about some of the contents of the Investment Law No. 6 of 2006 and the size of the facilities and privileges granted by law for foreign investors .
Also touched on the measures to be implemented at the desire of foreign companies to open branches in the region that would facilitate access to Investment opportunities and access to the market of Kurdistan.
In the words of the President of the British delegation , Mr. David Lloyd adviser of The British Middle Eastern Friendship Association, , in Which he noted the good relations existing between the two countries , he said : In order to strengthen these relations was the British government to open an office in Erbil specialist to grant entry visas to businessmen and citizens of Kurdistan to Britain in flexible terms . In the End mutual meetings has been happened between businessmen and traders from both parties to introduce themselves and their business activities in order to enable them to continue trade relations in the future .
