Erbil :On 19/8/2013 A meeting  between a delegation of the Assembly independent Turkish businessmen and industrialists (MUSIAD)  and Erbil businessmen was held at the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,and  attended by Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  President of the  Erbil Chamber of Commerce and industry and a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and members of the visiting delegation, headed by Mr. Ayoub Iqbal, Vice-President of the Turkish MUSIAD, At the outset of the meeting, Mr. President of the Chamber indicated to the depth of economic and trade relations between the Kurdistan region and Turkey and the volume of trade increased between the two parties and the number of Turkish companies operating in the Kurdistan region which comes in the leading level  a

mong foreign companies, as Mr. President of the Chamber appreciated the Turk officials involved in granting visa  access and facilities for Iraqis who travel to Turkey, then Mr. Vice-President of the Association MUSIAD thanked  Mr. President of the Chamber for the warm reception and hospitality and adequate explanation presented about the economic situation growing n the region and business potential, then Mr. Vice-President of the Assembly gave idea about  their association, which was founded in 1931 which is  active in trade and business  domestically and internationally, and its branches in a number of Arab countries and the  world, , pointed out  to the desire of Assembly to establish a branch or office in Erbil, in order to enter the market of Kurdistan, at the end of the meeting there was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Assembly and the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which include Several aspects of cooperation, namely: strengthening trade and expertise between the two parties - to strengthen cooperation in the field of investment - to provide possible assistance to companies and investors from both countries - Encouraging participating in international trade fairs - the establishment of seminars involving businessmen from both countries - cooperation in the field of commercial activities Other - Preparation of appropriate programs to help the both  institutions constant outreach..
