Erbil: On 12 December 2020, in the presence of the President and the deputies of the Iraq Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and the presidents of all the 19 Chambers, the Federation held its 12/13 annual meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 At the opening, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the Deputy President of the Federation and the President of The Erbil Chamber gave a speech, expressed happiness for welcoming that meeting in Erbil. And, emphasized that this meeting is an opportunity for being closer to each other, discussing and unraveling problems. 

And, he also said that the Kurdistan Region always receiving commercial delegations cheerfully, and that the Ifaqi Chambers meeting will pave the way for more opportunities for the traders and businessmen. 

And continued to say that during this crisis this step will make the economy be more beneficial for the citizens. We will continue to boost the private sector to provide good quality services to the people. 

Dr. Dara said that “Besides stirring the construction and growth process, Erbil always strained for to link the economic axes of Iraq. We hope to come up with strategic resolutions in this meeting.”   

Then after, Abdulrazaq Alzuhairi the President of the Federation of Chambers made a speech and praised the building and growth facets of the Region, and reiterated on solving the Traders and businessmen problem by law, he expressed his positiveness in the collaboration of other stakeholders, he said literally “ Because we are united in our atitudes.” 

He proceeded to say that despite the crisis crowded on the the private sector, but still we could exceed them. The covid19 virus repercussion were expected to affect the private sector but on the contrary the sector stayed strong.
