Erbil: On August 5, 2019, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received the representative of The World Bank in Kurdistan Region. 

The World Bank official visited the Chamber to suggest for the Chamber two projects; the projects are aiming at women empowerment, which the Canadian governments offered to fund them and to be implemented by the Chamber. 

The president of the Chamber, expressed support, and cited a number of likewise projects that were implemented by the Chamber and UNDP.
