The project is organizing a training in the central heating field in the construction industry. With the construction industry being one of the largest industries in the Kurdish Region, this sector bears a huge potential for employment. Central heating is fairly new in the Kurdish Region and Iraq but gaining recognition in the market.
This training will allow applicants to get comprehensive knowledge in installing and the maintenance of central heating. GIZ have partnered with Central Heating Company, an exclusive sales partner of Vaillant and Maincor in Iraq, to allow for applicants to learn the trade and gain hands-on and practical experience within this sector.
Description:
Participants will gain the fundamental knowledge to allow them to gain employment within this sector and once completed will receive a certificate of completions. Courses that will be incorporated into the training include:
1. Health and safety at work
2. Survey, Data Gathering, Planning and Preparation.
3. Central Heating System Design (Radiators and/or Underfloor Heating)
4. Installation, testing and commissioning.
5. Operation and Maintenance
6. Fault finding and Diagnosis
7. Warranty issues, after sale service etc.
Time & place:
The training will commence 14th April 2019 till 18th April 2019 in Sulaimania.

For trainees coming from other cities in the Kurdish Region, transport and accommodation costs will be covered by GIZ. Lunch will be provided on site.
