Erbil: On February 25, 2019, In the presence of government officials, traders, the owners of the companies, The Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in corporation with UNDP agency and The German Government, the Second Forum for the diversification of the sources of the domestic Economy held in Erbil at the headquarters of the Chamber. 

In the outset, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of the Chamber gave a statement said that this Forum aiming at studying a scientific context for an action plan for reviving the private sector and from there to diversify the local Economy sources. He added that the private sector is playing an active role in reviving the national Economy, specially the trends that encourage the free market, then the diversification would leave a big impact on making the national Economy promoted in different sectors like general Economy, agriculture, industry, tourism. 

Then after, Marta Riodas, the deputy representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Iraq, made a speech, she talked about the importance of having a promoted action plan, and the efforts of their organization in supporting the private sector in the Region. 

The Forum included Three panels: first was about reforming the legal environment, developing much catalyst environmental situation . The Second was about guaranteeing the access to financial support like loans for small projects for promoting trade and local investment. The Third, is building the cornerstone for Human Resources for small projects, and exchanging ideas in the end of the last panel.
