Erbil: On 27th September, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of The Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Hakan Karacay, the Turkey's Consul General in Erbil and his accompanying delegation. 

In a meeting they talked over the ways to promote commercial ties between Kurdistan Region and Turkey. 

Furthermore, they discussed the solution the problems faced in the borders exit points, and holding a wide conference for consolidation of relations.
