Erbil: On June 21, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of Erbil Chamber and Industry, received Cameron Millard, the new appointed official of the trade and economy department in the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil.

Millard said" we came here to be ensured about the situation of the Kurdistan Region trade with abroad, and to enhance the level of commercial relationship with Kurdistan Region, it will be our top priority," added" We would like to our companies to take advantage from the stability in the Region and start up their investment projects. We also need to know the available sectors for investment."

The President of the Chamber hailed the good relations between the both sides but he took the notice on the the level of corporation and the number of the U.S. Companies function in the Region," He said" Kurdistan Region is in need to the foreign investment in all the sectors. But, prefers for them doing Investment in the agriculture sector as the Region has a fertile ground and climate. And, also the health sector and reconstruction," He emphasized that" The development in the industrial sector, establishment of factories are required for the developing the local products and creating job opportunities." He expressed the support of the Chamber for all of like that investment.
