Erbil: On May 15, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Charamouli Karin, the Indian Consul General in Erbil. In a meeting the both side focused on strengthening the trade relations and building ties between India and Kurdistan Chambers. 

The Indian diplomat said" The stable situation of Kurdistan and the availability of investment opportunities making our companies to decide to come into Kurdistan Region for establishing investment, We did facilitations in granting visas, therefore, a huge number of the Regions citizens are paying visits to India for health therapy purposes. " 

He added" In corporate with the Indian Government, we plan to hold workshops for employees of some sectors. And, try to pave the way for the participation of our companies in Erbil International Fair." 

Dr. Khayat said" We are supporting all those companies and Indian businessmen who want to develop their business with Kurdistan Region ." 

He demanded the diplomat to give help to projects which make the Indian investors to partner the Kurdistan businessmen in establishing Medication factories, they help Kurdistan Region in both health and education sectors.
