The Sixth Arab- Greek Forum held in Athens

Erbil: On 29th Nov 2017, A delegation from the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by Soran Abubakir Aziz the deputy president of the Chamber attended the Sixth Arab- Greek Forum in Athens. 

The Forum was continued for Two days, which has been held by the Arab- Greek Chamber for Development. 

Furthermore, a significant number of ministers and government officials, the representatives of the Arab countries, the heads of the Arab Chambers and Federations, businessmen, the owner of businesses, more than 140 companies from Greece and a number of Arab states companies representatives attended the forum. 

Generally, the panels of the Forum addressed; 

- The investment opportunities in Greece and Arab countries.

- The development and the expansion of the partnership opportunities between the Greece and Arab companies, and the involvement of youths.

- The Energy, construction and Industry and the construction materials.

- The Industry and services, providing the investment opportunities and coordination between the both side. 

- Involving the New Technology for accomplishing a new trade and business. 

During the conference, all those above mentioned topics are addressed in detail. Although, the conference discussed the matter of the reconstruction the countries destroyed as the result of unfolding war and conflicts in the Middle East.

Throughout the period of the conference the Chamber delegation held a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings in the sideline of the conference on the investment opportunities and particularly the tourism, agriculture and food industry in Kurdistan Region, they expressed the readiness of Erbil Chamber for supporting the businessmen and businesses that would want to do business in Kurdistan. 

The members of the Chamber delegation were Ibrahim Muhammad Kanabi the deputy president, Salar Jalal Qadir, Sarkawt Jamal Bazaz the members of the board of directors, Muhammad Mustafa Amin the Director General of the Chamber, Rebwar Zrar from the relations department.
