Erbil: On 23/10/2017, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Ms. Heather Coble the head of the economic department at the US Consulate General in Erbil, for discussing the strengthening relations. 

The meeting, was attended by the deputies a number of board of directors of the Chamber. Ms. Coble announced that they are looking for a stronger relations with the Kurdistan Region and the will support the region to have a progressed bank system and bringing into Kurdistan more US companies. 

Dr. Khayat, hoped for more solid relations between the both side while he mentioned that the sides have a good relations, and said that the Erbil Chamber is always ready to receive the US Commercial delegation. And, said that the stagnant economic situation is temporarily and will be exceeded, and all the sectors will be back on track.
