Monday on 2/3/2009 Dara Jalil Khayat head of chamber and a number of chamber members participated in the ceremony of opening the first domestic products fair in Erbil. The fair was organized by each of ministry of trade, manufacture and agriculture with federation of Kurdistan chambers of commerce and industry. In his words, Mohammed Rauf trade minister mentioned that the purpose of opening the fair is to introduce domestic company, factories and traders to our people and support local projects and announced that the fair will be opened yearly. Chamber council participated in the ceremony with Wan commercial delegation.
