Erbil- On 31.3.2016 ,over 25 Turkish companies participated in Kurdistan -Turkey Business Forum in Erbil .

The Forum held  at the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry  building . The Turkish companies were  from various fields of business, including (clothing - electronics - furniture and pharmaceutical materials), also attended the forum their counterparts from Kurdistan Region .

Dr.Dara Jalil Khayat the ptresident of Erbil Chamber gave  a brief speech in which he praised that  presence in this circumstance where the Kurdistan region is going through a financial crisis and pointed to good business relations with the neighboring Turkey ,which is going towards the development and expansion . Mr. President of the Chamber  stressed on  the need to provide the necessary facilities regarding the granting of visa  to traders in the  region to facilitate movement and quick access to Turktraders .

M. Mustafa Yilmaz the trade  attache  at the Turkish consulate in Erbil attended  the Forum ,and and Mr.Tariq Jager the  vice president of the Akdenez  Union of Importers  was heading the Turkish delegation said  that' Kurdistan is important because of the common cultures of the two peoples" and also said that in the period of past Ten years undergone a qualitative development in relations between the two countries reaching bilateral trade volume to ten billion dollars a year and this figure is significant in trade relations, and noted that Turkey is seeking to supply best goods to Kurdistan and Iraq.

In the end bilateral meetings between the owners of the commercial interests  held ,for the exchange of views on future trade cooperation, and  gifts exchanged between the parties.
