ErBIL: On 08/19/2015,Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat ,The president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Ms Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, ,the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government to the United States of America.
In an ordinary session, attended by Mr.Soran Abu Bakr , Second Deputy Chairman of the Chamber , Majeed Sadiq and Sadraddin Kamal, Sarkawt kamal and Jamal Aziz the members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber .
Ms.Bayan Sami Abdulrahman talked over the successful visit of Mr.Masud Barzani the President of the Kurdistan Region to the United States, which was in addition to the success in the field of political relations was able to attract the attention of a lot of American companies to participate in the reconstruction of the Kurdistan Region.
Ms.Bayan said ,as the representation of Kurdistan Regional Government in America is organizing a joint economic Conference for American-Iraqi Businessmen with cooperation with the Organization (United states - Kurdistan Business Council)
It will be devoted therein more than a section or a committee to examine and discuss the economic situation and trade in the Kurdistan Region.
She also said they are trying to form a US trade delegation in the economic areas in which you need the Region to visit the Region to look at business fields opportunities in the region through economic conference to organize for this purpose.
She confirmed that , in addition to their work in the field of political and cultural relations between the Region and the United States of America, they have taken economic and trade development relations as a priority in their agenda.
For his part, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat appreciated the role of representative in the United States and the ongoing efforts in the development of relations between the two parties.
He stressed that the Chamber continuous in its efforts to consolidate relations with all relevant international and local organizations in spite of the economic conditions experienced by the Region to serve the interests of the members and their participation in speeding up the wheel of economy in the region by providing them the necessary support and facilities.
And also expressed the readiness of the Chamber to cooperate with them and help them to achieve their goals and make everything possible to receive visiting delegations and work for the success of economic programs that developed by the representation of the Region in United States of America.
