British Consul seeks to strengthen trade relations with the region

Erbil :On 06.25.2015  Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , received in his office in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Mr. Inks Mackie ,the British General Consul in Erbil in order to deliver a message  of strengthen trade relations between the Region  and Britain.

Mr. President of the Chamber welcomed this visit wishing to  the role of the consulate to be active in order to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Britain and the Kurdistan Region, and noted that an economic conference will be held in Britain coming August centered on activating economic cooperation at various levels specifically  agricultural ones,  in addition to explain that  Kurdistan economic development open for companies and British investors. He is stressing that the Chamber  is ready to provide all aspects of support for British companies, and in turn,  the UK General Consul thanked for the warm reception and promised to deliver messages that serve the economies of both countries to the Britishconcerned authorities , saying that Britain contributes to the oil sector development and other sectors in the region and will continue in this trend also promised to make the effort in simplify the granting of visas for Kurdistan traders to have easy access to Britain..
