Erbil: On 28.2.2016 ,A delegation of The world Ban headed by Ms.Silvia Zulu  visited Erbil Chamber and welcomed by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of  Commerce and Industry , to discuss the World Banks continued support to develop the small and medium projects in Kurdistan .  

In A Meeting attended by a number of board of  directors  members of the Chamber ,the delegation expressed their continues support and willing  to develop the small and medium projects .They are searching for an administrative  and financial considerable foundation to undertake  this duty and give it disposal right for the dedicated amount money for this purpose .

Ms Silvia said “ the development of these kind of projects ,via organizing the courses by our consultants ,to develop themselves and to promote the level of sales is our duty .”

Said “ The role of the Chamber would come in this period to designate the projects and sectors that should take benefit from this program , to make more job opportunities  ,participate in the technical and administration awareness of those sectors and their promotion .”

The guest delegation  talked about the sorts of projects in Kurdistan , said there  are tow kinds , a group of them are stopped their work because of the crises , and  another group to continues despite of all the obstacles that are facing them . we can support them by opening empowerment courses for them .”

The President of the Chamber said “ there are main projects they could have an effect on  the economic development of the country ,those projects should be supported “

Also said “ The Baghdad Government has dedicated an amount of money to the small and medium projects development in the middle and South of Iraq ,this support not included Kurdistan Region , the Kurdistan Government currently lacking capacity to develop these project .”

Said “ only the empowerment  courses can not  benefit these projects ,it could be supported financially also , by allocating an amount of money to them  via the Chamber or another organization  .”

The sides decided  to collaborate to designate the sides that could offer facilitation to the whole program implementation .
