Erbil: Mr. Soran Abu Bakr Aziz, Deputy President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , has received in his office on 10/30/2013 Armenian parliamentary and commercially delegation included Messrs. Rubin Sadoaan , Aram Nickram and Sameenazak Hanusban members of Parliament of Armenia and a number of Armenians traders and businessmen ,  the delegation has welcomed y Mr. Vice- President of the Chamber and expressed his pleasure at the meeting held between sides and wished to Armenian companies in the future to  have  presence extensively in the Kurdistan economic arena ,which is open to all foreign companies intending to work in the region in light of the economic stability and security based in the region, in the words of Mr. Rubin, a member of parliament where he said: that the Armenian companies have intention to enter to the Kurdish market strongly to begin opening their own business and hold meetings with the owners of commercial interests  and businessmen of Kurdistan  to develop a sound cornerstone  towards strengthening trade and economic relations between the two countries .

Erbil: On 30.10.2013, under the auspices Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region, President of the  Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , The  Chamber held a joint Commercial - Polish Forum at the Chamber office , attended by Mr. Roman Madajkooij  the Consul of Poland to Erbil and Ms. Bitajointa to Onzzs director of economic Section in the Polish province of Wolkoloka and a number of Polish businesses , as forum was attended by a number of owners of the commercial interests of Kurdistan  and members of the administrative board of the Chamber , President of the Chamber highlighted the importance of this visit and the previous visits , which helped to expand trade and economic relations between Kurdistan Region  and Bologna , referring to the role of the consulate of Poland , which newly opened in Erbil where is the basic channel to bring the two commercially , economically, culturally , socially and politically , also stressed the need for the Polish companies to export their products to the region and expressed his willingness to fully cooperate with the Polish companies wishing to work in the Kurdistan region , then Ms. Chairperson head of  the Economic Section in the province of Wolkoloka talked ,where she said: that there is a convergence of a number of historic constants between the people of Kurdistan and the people of Poland and indicated that Kurds citizens who lived in Poland  can be relied upon , act as delegates of Polish companies , and Mr. Polish official consulate talked while focusing on the importance of opening consulate in Erbil, which would open the doors to the business between the two countries , and the companies that participated in this event specializes in making fuel tanks - the meat industry - building massacres of animals - real estate - monument Repair electric winch for the owners of special needs - designs buildings , energy and building power stations.

Erbil: Mr. Dara Jalil President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce andIndustry of the region ,and President  of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry  participated in the opening ceremony of  Erbil International Fair VI for building and construction , which opened on 28.10.2013 on the ground of the Erbil International Fair , which was attended by the Ministers of Trade and Industry and Construction ,Mr.Nawzad Hadi, the Governor of Erbil and a number of representatives of the officials of the government departments , associations and professional organizations and owners of companies and business interests of Kurdistan,The exhibition was opened  with the contribution of six hundred and twenty-five companies from twenty-seven countries, including the fifteen European country and five Arab country , also participated in the opening ceremony a  number of members of the administrative body of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry of, Mr. President of the Union, has pointed out on the importance of establishing such  Exhibition ,on the ground  of Kurdistan in particular that the government is heading to building a sound infrastructure in order to the  benefit of  future generations and promote the Kurdistan to chime with the renaissance of the developed countries.

Erbil: On 27.10.2013Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in his office , has received a delegation from the Italian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry headed by Mattia Mkelo Manager of Association and Francisco Tovarill member of Strategic Committee of the Association ,  the delegation was welcomed by the President of the Chamber , wished them a pleasant stay while stressing the importance of visiting of  Italian trade delegations to Kurdistan that would enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries , also pointed to the participation of a large number of Italian companies in the Erbil International Fair , where he considered a step in the expansion of relations with Italian companies, while stressing that Kurdistan is now the economic and commercial gateway to Iraq ,and center of commercial activity for the whole of Iraq after a lot of foreign companies opened their branches in Kurdistan as a springboard to reach the whole of Iraq, in a speech  to Mr. Mattia Mkelo who said that their association has  effective participation  in business activity at the level of exhibitions  organized in Erbil , also pointed to the need for a delegation from the Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce and its president , and its administrative to visit  Italy during the establishment of international conferences and exhibitions .

Erbil: On 10.27.2013 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region and President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , in his office, has received  on Mr. Anatoly Marjanats Ukraine ambassador to Iraq at the head of a business delegation on a visit to the Kurdistan region, to look closely at the  developmental and  economic movement ,as a prelude to open the way for Ukrainian companies to enter the market of Kurdistan,  the guest was welcomed by the President of the Chamber this visit and wished the delegation a pleasant stay in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region, also expressed willingness to provide support and cooperation of the Ukrainian companies wishing to invest and work in the Kurdistan region , and gave the explanation about  the nature of the business in the region and how to activate and take advantage of investment opportunities and economic development put forward for implementation in the light of the Investment Law No. 4 of 2006 .

The Ambassador thanked President of the Chamber for the warm reception and hoped that this visit will be the entrance to the economic relations and bilateral trade , as Ukraine is  famous for produce steel and coal industry - electric power - ferrous metals - transportation Equipment - chemicals and food industries , particularly the sugar industry in addition to grain production - sugar beet - sunflower seeds - vegetables - beef and dairy.

Erbil: On 27.10.2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat Chairman of the Federation of Chambers ,President e Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,has recieved in his office Mr. Abdul Razak Fitanas official Commercial Attaché in Baghdad, and Imad HafiDh official Commercial Attaché of Tunisia in Amman - Jordan , who are visiting the region to pave the way o  the opening of a Tunisian Trade Fair in Erbil at the beginning of the  next year, and the intention of visit of  high-level Tunisian trade delegation to the region in the same time ,the two visitors  were welcomed by the President of the Chamber ,and wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region, also gave an explanation about the economic situation and existing business in the region and presented developmental projects for Investment, wishing to be for Tunisian companies a stake , and expressed the readiness of the Chamber to provide support and cooperation to the delegation and companies intending to work in Kurdistan .

The President of the Chamber has asked the delegation to have representatives from the Chambers of Commerce of Tunisia,  in the delegation that will visit the Region , And in conclusion, the both guests thanked Mr. President of the Chamber for the warm reception and said that Tunisia is in the process of opening a direct air route between Tunisia and Kurdistan to be a good omen in the construction of economic and trade relations between the two countries.

Erbil: On 10.27.2013 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the region of Kurdistan,and the President of Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry of has received in his office Mr. Maictank Director of Taiwanese Mall in Kuwait , who is visiting the region to the configuration to the visit of a  Taiwanese trade delegation to Kurdistan in the next month to look closely at theongoing commercial traffic, in preparation to enter the Taiwanese companies to the market of Kurdistan, the Guest was welcomed by the President of the Chamber and wished him a pleasant stay in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region and provided an explanation of the economic situation and the well established  security situation in the region, hoping to deliver this vision to Taiwanese companies to keep their reservations to work with Kurdish companies , expressed the Chamber full readiness to support Taiwanese companies that want to work and invest in the region.

 The Guest was pleased with the visit and promised that it will not be the last to Kurdistan.

Erbil: On, 10.10.2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,has received in his office , Mr. Jean-Claude Iron ,the Head Pictet Office for managing the wealth of the owners of interests and his entourage

 , who is visiting the region to get the technical information in preparation for the opening of a branch of  them in Erbil , at the outset of the meeting, Mr. President of the Chamber  welcomed the idea and gave a full report vision on banking activity of foreign -based in the Region and the minimum amount of capital permitted to enable foreign banks and Iraqi  banks to open branches in the region.

, also touched on the development work and activities of foreign companies and the size of the investment and the directions of Kurdistan Region economic future , especially in the field of oil and gas , and touched on also on  the industrial , agricultural and tourism , which are the  important sectors for the Kurdistan Regional Government , in the end of the meeting  the President of the visiting delegation thanked the President of the Chamber for the warm reception and explained adequately nature of economic and commercial economic institutions in the region , talked about the the activity of their office, which  is investment & banking at the same time and the date of its establishment goes back to 1805 ,during this period they cared to global investment projects care and legal care of  fortunes of the owners of interests and legal transfer to the generations, and expressed the wish to participate in the building of Kurdistan, Mr. President of the Chamber expressed its readiness to support the orientations of companies and foreign economic institutions wishing to work and invest in the region.

Erbil :On 22/10/2013Mr. Soran Abubakar Aziz, Deputy Chairman of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,has recieved in his office on  Mr. Joko Makinen Governor of Finnish city of  Hankou , who is visiting the region at the head of an official delegation in order to achieve economic and trade cooperation with their counterpart  economic and trade institutions in  Kurdistan .

Mr. Vice- President of the Chamber has welcomed guest delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region and pointed out that this kind  of visits would open prospects for economic cooperation between Finland and the Kurdistan region ,and  Kurdistan companies of all  kinds of reference desire to work with their Finnish counterparts, noting that foreign companies eager to enter the market of Kurdistan and especially those that have consulates in Erbil, which so far amounted to more than two thousand and six hundred companies , also gave an explanation for the developmental nature ,which is happening  in Kurdistan and the laws pertaining to investment projects and the intention of the delegation from the Chamber of Commerce of Erbil to visit Finland and Sweden in 04/11/2013 , also touched on ,the last  exhibition of   Erbil international  Fair , its recent number of countries and foreign companies that participated in, then d the head of the delegation thanked, Vice President of the Chamber for the warm reception and said that we are here to look closely at the existing business movement in the region and to get more information and look for business partners to cooperate with them in the future, Finally Mr. Vice- President of the Chamber suggested of the advent of a Finnish business delegation to the region to hold bilateral meetings with traders and businessmen, of Kurdistan.
