Erbil: On September11, 2018, The Kurdistan Commercial Delegation headed by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the President of The Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by Ibrahim Mohammed Kanabi, the deputy president, Baqi Mohammed Hadi and Sadraddin Kamal the members of the board of directors of the Chamber visited the Ministry Of Economy and Energy of the Bulgaria Government. 

The delegation was received by Lajizar Bourisov, the undersecretary of Economy and Energy. 

In a bilateral meeting the both side discussed the investment in the energy sector of Kurdistan by the Bulgarian Government.

On the next day, the delegation visited the Bulgaria's Chambers of Commerce Union, received by Tistivan Symianov, the president of the Union, Janjo Yaniv, the president of Khaskovo Chamber of Commerce. 

In a meeting, the sides discussed the commercial activities of the Bulgarian businessmen in Kurdistan Region, and opening the Bulgarian Bank branch in Erbil was decided from there, which is the First time that a European Bank to open its branch in Erbil. 

On 13th September, the delegation has visited Varna, and well received by the deputy governor of Varna, Picho Pychiv, and Avan Tabcov, the President of The Varna Chamber. 

In that meeting, the deputy governor of Varna, mentioned that their city is well known for a famous tourism sector, they can invest in this sector in Kurdistan Region. Dr. Khayat, asked the Bulgarian traders to play their role in Kurdistan, specially, in the sector of tourism. 

The Kurdistan delegation was also accompanied by Azad Sherwani the officer of public relations of the Union of Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Majeed Mzuri, the head of Kurdistan-Bulgaria Business Board. 

Erbil: On September 13, 2018, Mala Majeed Surchi, the deputy president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Baniaj Antaricso, the Indonesian ambassador to Baghdad, and his accompanying delegation. 

The sides, discussed the consolidation of trade ties between Kurdistan Region and Indonesia. They discussed, the affairs related to the Indonesian that living in Kurdistan Region for job purposes. The Indonesian ambassador, invited the Chamber to show up in an international fair in Jakarta, in the mid October.

Erbil: On September10, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Vilim Kozayin, the Netherlands Consul General in Erbil, Natali Gonchaliv, the officer of private sector strategy in the Consulate. 

In a meeting, the both side discussed the bilateral commercial ties between Kurdistan and Netherlands. The discussion aimed at developing ways to encourage the Netherlands companies to invest in Kurdistan Region, particularly, in the field of agriculture. And, to trigger the Netherlands organizations to work in Kurdistan Region, specially, in the field of youth and small projects. 

Mala Majeed Surchi, the deputy president, Jawhar Bazaz and Salar Qadir, the members of board directors of the Chamber, were presented in the meeting. 

Erbil: Erbil: On September 5, 2018, Steve Fagin, the U.S. Consul General in Erbil, Bradly Evins, the Economic Affairs officer, And, Cameron Milad, the political department officer at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, visited the Kurdistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Union, they received by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the President of the Union, Sirwan Mohammed and Ayad Hassan, the deputies president. Nawzad Ghafur and Baqi Mohammed, the members of the board of directors. 

In a meeting, Dr. Khayat, welcomed the newly appointed Consul General, congratulated him on his appointment, hoped to work for further strengthening of U.S. Kurdistan trade relations and encourage his country's investors to establish their branch of companies in the Eegion. Mr. Facing, express his happiness and assured that he would continue. 

Furthermore, they talked about the previous trade delegation visits to the United States, and the Chamber asked the delegation to organize a U.S. businessmen visit to Kurdistan Region, also asked the Consulate General to support the Small Business Support Project, which will be adopted by the Chambers Union. 

Erbil: On August 16, 2018, in the presence of Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The deputy President of the Federation of The Iraq Chambers, the Federation has held the 64th meeting, of 12th session in Baghdad. 

The meeting, attended by all the presidents of the Iraq Chambers. In the outset of the meeting, Jaafar Hamdani, the Head of the Federation, made a speech, pointed out to the importance of the regular present of Kurdistan Chambers in the meeting. Then, they discussed the obstacles that facing the trade movement in Iraq , and the ways of solving them for better regulation of trade between Kurdistan Region and the South an Mid parts of Iraq Governorates . 

Erbil: On September 3, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, The President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received, Karwan Jamal, the representative of KRG in U.K. 

In a meeting, discussed the trade relations between Kurdistan Region and U.K, attracting the British investors to establish businesses in Kurdistan Region, open the branches of their companies. 

Furthermore, they discussed helping the Kurdistan businessmen to participate in the international fairs in the Region and important British goods to the Region. 

Erbil: On September 4, 2018, Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat, the president of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with the deputy of the president, Soran Abubakir Aziz , received a delegation from the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil, included, Zihni Targul, the Trade Advisor, Ersay Citi, the tax advisor in the Consulate. 

In a meeting, the sides sought the ways for developing trade relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey. Dr. Khayat, asked Turkish side to offer more all kind facilitations, like visa granting and facilitating border point procedures to the Kurdish businessmen. 

The both sides agreed on holding a joint conference for the Kurdistan and Turkish businessmen. They discussed the problems in the border and tax points too.
