Erbil É On 14.4.2016 , A Bulgarian Business DElegation headed by Mr.Demetri Ogrinov ,the official of the Trade department i Bulgarian Embassy in Iraq ,visited the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry and welcomed by Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat teh President of The Chamber . 

In  a meeting Mr.Demitri Ogrinov talked about the economy and trade  sector  in Bulgaria ,said :the commercial ties between Bulgaria and Kurdistan is fragile ,we should both work to go up to a good level and consolidate relations.

The head of the guest delegation said ,that they are qualified in the sectors of Tourism ,Agriculture and food Industry , to serve the economy of the Region in these fields.

At the same time he gave the Chamber an invitation to a Kurdistan trade  delegation to visit Bulgaria ,to meet the owner of business interests there and to attend an International Exhibition .Dr.Khayat  commended the step of Bulgaria  and asked them ,like many other European countries , if they encourage the Bulgarian companies to open branches in Kurdistan  ,and invest in the Region ,he expressed the readiness of the Chamber to support their steps .
