Erbil- On 04.04.2016 ,the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Institute of Management was held at the office of the institute inside the Erbil  Chamber building .The Institute was established by the International Finance Corporation in cooperation with the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry  after the parties signed an agreement ,came into  effect on 12.15.2015, and called the Institute of Kurdistan of management , which aims to provide advisory services for corporate governance for members of corporate boards and senior administrations  in addition to businessmen and businesswomen in the region in order to improve the efficiency of the performance of their management  and the continuity of its activities and ways  coping risks and crises that have exposed companies to reach the best performance, in a way can  serve the economies of the region . 

Dr. Amira Al-Ajaj the official of corporate governance programs in the Middle East and North Africa in the mentioned organization , commended  the Chamber of Commerce and its president's efforts it has  foresight and insistence on the business community serving in Erbil, in particular, and the Kurdistan region in general, as Ms. Aljaj  expressed their gratitude for the  effective  role of the Chamber in good preparation for the establishment of this institute and the allocation of the office  to it inside the edifice
