Erbil: On 25/02/2013, Mr. Soran Abu Bakir Aziz, Deputy President of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received at his office a  Turkish trade delegation from Istanbul, which was  visiting the region in order to develop business and trade cooperation with businessmen and traders in the region, Mr. Vice President of the Chamber hailed this visit and explained that the gates of the  Region  are open to receive more companies and foreign investors and take advantage of the Investment Law No. 4 of 2006, which grants more privileges and facilities to foreign investors and locals alike, also the Turkish delegation praised  the unlimited cooperate by the Chamber to promote trade and economic ties between Region and  its neighbor Turkey

Erbil: On 21/02/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of Board Members of the Chamber have received a senior economic delegation from  Armenia headed  by Dikran Harotienn Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Mr. Zoro  Hean representative of the Kurdish community in the Republic of Armenia, Robert Horotienn President of  economic and  development Agency with a number of businessmen and representatives of Armenian businesses , Mr. President of the Chamber made  a speech  which he referred to the close ties that bind the two peoples Armenian and Kurdish throughout history, also expressed willingness of the Chamber to receive Armenian businessmen and traders and investors wishing to invest  in Kurdistan region in order to strengthen and develop joint trade ,economic and cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the region, also  the head of  Armenian delegation  gave a word he was pleased to visit the region and stressed the importance of distinguished diplomatic relations between Armenia and Iraq, including the Kurdistan region. noted that the Republic of Armenia sincere to open a consulate in the Region  in addition to striving to open an air route linking Yerevan and Erbil, and finally the President of the Armenian delegation  offered invitation to Mr. President of the Chamber and Kurdistan   business delegation to visit Yerevan and contrast Mr. President of the Chamber have had a similar invitation to Armenians trade delegation to visit the Region.
