Erbil : On 17 May 2010 , in attendance of Mr.Hogr Shali from KRG foreign department , and other officials from the ministry of trade and industry and Erbil chamber , the certificates distributed over the participants of the fifth UNIDO course for business leaders. These courses are a common project between the chamber, ministry of trade and industry , and UNIDO organization , for the business starters . Mr Hogr Shali congratulated the participants and spoke over the importance of such courses ,also Mr.Abdulwahid Taha , the head of Erbil unit mentioned some information about the course.

Erbil:On 16 May 2010 , Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat , the head of the chamber ,received an American media team , from Washington Post and Wall Street Journal . The team was working to collect information about economic boom and business opportunities in Kurdistan , the head of the chamber answered their question regarding economic and business situation in Kurdistan . Mr. Khayat ,also focused on the business ties between Kurdistan and USA , he asked the American companies to be more active in Kurdistan like some European and neighboring countries companies.
