Sharjah would like the opening of its representative office in Kurdistan Region

Erbil: On 09/23/2013, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Erbil, hosted a delegation of two  Chambers of Commerce and Industry of emirates of Sharjah, and Ajman , in the Social and Cultural Centre Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was attended by Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region  President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry , with a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, also attended by the Sharjah Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and his entourage of emirates , and in the beginning of the hospitality ceremony Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat welcomed guest delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in the Kurdish capital Erbil and success in their work , and pointed to the depth of historical relations between the two brotherly peoples towards strengthening trade and economic relations between the parties, also spoke about the importance of the agricultural sector in current  time especially that the world is suffering from economic problems in the food  supply , asked the  emirates of Sharjah and Ajman to have outstanding activity in the agricultural sector in the arena of Kurdistan , where there is appropriate environment for its activation and cooperation in order toachieve fruitful results, in a speech made by  the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Sharjah, pointed out to the opening of the Representation of the emirate in the region, which would strengthen relations between the two sides in all areas, and will encourage the exchange of visits for the owners of companies and business interests in the region and the emirates of Sharjah and Ajman ,learned closely on economic activities and the ongoing trade in the two countries , and in the speech of Mr. Fdaaddin Mohammed Amin, board member of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, who pointed to the importance of both emirates in the revitalization of tourism and industry through investment programs jointly or independently , as he requested training cadres of the chambers of commerce of the region of Kurdistan in the emirates for the administrative and technical programs due to outweigh the Gulf countries in this area, Vice - Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber has expressed willingness to accept the idea

Erbil: On 09/23/2013, Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in the  cultural and social center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received Mr. Razak Sheriff DeputyGovernor of the province of Najaf in the presence of Erbil Governorate representative ,and a number of Erbil Chamber  Board of directors, a meeting was held ,  Mr. Khayat welcomed visitors and wished them a pleasant stay in Erbil - the capital of the Kurdistan region, Mr. Deputy Governor has revealed the goal of his visit to the Chamber a request for assistance to identify the importers of foodstuffs within the ration food card,which the governorates are to distribute it according a resolution by central government 

Erbil:On on 09/23/2013, The Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Cultural and Social Center ,of the Chamber held a trade  Forum with Slovak companies trade mission for to Iraq ,which wasisiting Erbil to participate in Erbil International Trade Fair IX, attended by Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of of Kurdistan Region  - President of Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,with a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber  and the owners of the commercial interests of importers and owners of companies , and  from the Slovak side Mr. Pulonwski deputy chief of Slovak mission in Baghdad, and Mr. Ahmed Kurd, Honorary Consul of Slovak Republic in Erbil and general manager of the Zilina Region of Slovakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the delegation guest was welcomed by the President of the Chamber and wished them a pleasant stay in the capital of the Kurdistan region ,and highlighted the importance of developing economic and trade relations between the Slovak Republic and the Kurdistan region , hoped that this visit will be the start of visits to other business to be a gateway for Slovak companies entry into the market of Kurdistan .

Joint meetings has been held between representatives of Slovak companies and Kurdistan to learn about the activities of their companies in order to build a bridge to connect trading in the future , then the Forum concluded signing  a memorandum of understanding for trade cooperation between  the sides .

A luncheon  was held  in honor of the visiting delegation .

Erbil:On 19/9/2013,Mr.Soran Abubakir Aziz the deputy  president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,has received Mr.Girwi Hoyz the official of Dutch  Relation Office ,based in Erbil.

Mr.Azizi welcomed the guest ,and asked to the Dutch Companies to have a noticeable availability in Kurdistan Economic arena .

The representative of Dutch Government disclosed the venire of high level Dutch commercial delegation to Kurdistan in October to hold an economic Forum ,aiming at strengthen commercial relations between sides ,specially in the fields of energy and Agriculture.

Mr.Azizi focused on the importance of having direct airline tours between  Erbil Ad Amsterdam ,and the necessity of granting Dutch visa to businessmen in the Dutch embassy in Baghdad .

Mr. Deputy of the Chamber expressed the support of the Chamber to those Dutch companies intending to open branches in The Region

Erbil: On 11/9/2013, Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,has received at his office in Erbil ,The president of Ghazi Aintab Chamber of Commerce and his accompanying delegation .

The President of the Chamber stressed on ,the importance of strengthening mutual relationship between the two Chambers particularly ,and between Kurdistan Region and Turkey in general. The both sides asked the activating of 2006 signed Memorandum ,and developing it a required  level ,to consolidate corporation between ,Kurdistan and Turkish companies ,for best results.

Mr.Khayat expressed the support of the Chamber to the goals of Turkish companies operating in Kurdistan Region .

Mr.Nawzad Hadi the governor of Erbil ,Ms.Anna Yaniva the deputy minister of economy ,energy and tourism of Bulgaria ,with a number of representatives of active Bulgarian companies and owners of Kurdistan companies ,Mr.Saro Dzayyi the head of Erbil branch of Constructers Union  of Kurdistan and journalists from both countries attended the event .

Mr.Nazad Hadi gave a speech and welcomed the guest ,described the visit as a step toward consolidating mutual trade relation ,and focused on the Kurdistan Regional Government s support to developmental movement in Kurdistan ,and indicated to Bulgaria as an European country ,has its technical capacity ,specially in the fields of Agriculture ,Tourist ,and Health, asked the Bulgarian companies to participate widely in the developmental movement in Kurdistan  .

The head of Bulgarian delegation gave a speech , stressed on the importance strengthening  mutual commercial relation ,and said they have came with a best collection of Bulgarian companies ,they  would like to come out with good results ,serving the both sides interests.

Mr.Ynajo Ynivi the head of Khaskovo  Chamber of Commerce and Industry spoke about the already operating Bulgarian companies in the Region ,one of them built a  bridge in the Duhok governorate area ,and asked the Mr.Khayat to visit Bulgaria  .

Mr.Dara Khayat asked them to encourage Bulgarian companies to invest in Kurdistan Region ,expressed the Chamber full support.

Erbil:On,10/9/2013,Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil chamber of commerce and industry ,received the Spanish trade and economic attaché ,based in Turkey ,to know about the commercial and economic activities going on in Kurdistan Region ,and to learn the Chamber that a large Spanish trade delegation will visit Kurdistan Region in October to participate in Erbil International Fair ,and to introduce to Kurdistan Businessmen ,to pave the way to both sides companies .

Mr .President of the Chamber expressed his happiness to this event and the cooperation of the Chamber.
